On the 2nd Saturday they gather to “Soul Stitch”. \nDid you know???    Ripley Soul Stitching begins its Fourth Year in 2026! \n  \nMary Ann Steffeny\, Jane Knoop\, Gayle Hansen and  Myla Hansen.\n  \nNorth Tama Telegraph article announcing Ripley Soul Stitching in March of 2023 : \nhttps://www.northtamatelegraph.com/news/local-news/2023/03/23/ripley-ucc-quilters-mark-national-quilting-day-with-new-soul-stitching-group/ \n\n\n\nThe group gets their day started at 9am by entering through the North door to the Fellowship Hall in the Church Basement.\n\n\n\nQuilts by size \, go to Cedar Valley Hospice\, Black Hawk Veterans\, AFIL\, Mercy One\, Salvation Army\, Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown\, The Stork’s Nest\, and Sleep in Heavenly Peace…..just to name a few of the recipients of their work!\n\nVeterans Home receives quilts from Ripley Stitcher Becky Gaston.\n\n\nAmericans for Independent Living\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNot only do they stitch fabric pieces\, but they stitch meaning through fellowship.\n\nWe invite all to pop in through the North door and see what they are up to!
