Ripley is hosting a special event to celebrate Bill Douglas, a friend and attender of our church, as he reads from his new book, The People are Kind: A religious History of Iowa.
Join all at St. Paul's Catholic Church as their Ash Wednesday Mass celebrates the lives of two local heroes. Lives lost 80 years ago during the Battle of Iwo Jima. A short presentation will be presented during the meal served immediately following Mass in the Parish Center.
