DESCRIPTION:May 17 2026 Bulletin \n  \nWear RED on Pentecost! \nNext week\, May 24th\, we celebrate Pentecost.  This day marks the descent of the Holy Spirit on the early followers of Christ\, and by extension\, on us.  In keeping with the imagery of the day (“tongues of flame”)\, we wear RED.  If you are able\, please come in your brightest\, boldest red to celebrate the Spirit we share. \n  \nRipley Church Meetings: \n\nBoard of Deacons: May 17th @ 10:00 am – Office\nBoard of Trustees: Thursday\, May 21st  @  5:30 pm – Office\n\n  \nRipley Mission/Church/Community Involvement: \n\nQuilting:  Thursday\, May 21st @ 9:00 am\n\nSaturday Soul Stitching – Saturday June 13th @ 9:00 am\n\n\nNoisy Offering – May 31st – Alive and Running (suicide prevention) \n\nTEVBS Update! \nPlanning for this year’s Traer Ecumenical Vacation Bible School is underway!  It will take place August 3-6 from 5:00-7:45 pm at Ripley.  Registration forms will roll out on all social media in the next couple weeks\, and will be available in hard copy in the Fellowship Hall.  Volunteers are needed for a number of tasks\, including leading groups\, setting up the space\, prepping food\, and helping with activities.  Please let Christie\, Becky\, Jim or Lindsey know if you are interested. \n  \nSummer Dates to Note: \n\nRUCC Volunteer @ Tama County Fair – Tue.
