Our Four-Year Bible Journey
TODAY is the first day of our four-year journey through the Narrative Lectionary. We will begin with the Flood, and God’s promise to us. Over the next few weeks/months, please let Pastor Jim know how the new system is working. There’s always room to fine tune. 🙂
Alive and Running!
Next Sunday, September 20, representatives from Alive and Running will be here to speak to our church during worship about their mission, and the role local churches can play. As a trigger warning, this is a suicide prevention organization, which means there will be talk of suicide. The tone is informational, but the trigger is worth noting, Speakers in the Christian Ed room will be muted.
Faith Opportunities in our Area:
- Women’s Retreat, Dysart Methodist, M & T Sept. 20/21 @ Hickory HIlls Lodge
- Invitations with details are on the back table
Gratitude
Thank you to those who participated in Sleep In Heavenly Peace on Friday. Because of you, children who did not have any bed before will sleep in high quality beds under handmade quilts, knowing they are loved.
